First off, HOLY COW, its been ages since I posted a message here! And remarkably, nothing major has happened since the last post other than just the basics. The server’s status is up and running, the board and website are both fully functional. Stats aren’t quite what I’d like, but they’re building.

Two major changes that are going to happen THIS week.. One of which is already done. LOL
Finally after a VERY long wait, I’ve upgraded the Java Applet to enable our java users to connect to the server via the website. Its a lot bigger and a lot better, and all you have to do is click on the icon once you click the Chat page.

Secondly, I plan on doing an upgrade to Services some time this week hopefully. It will allow for some flexibility with regards to a variety of things. I think it’d be an improvement, but what this means is that I might have to shut the Services down for a bit. The server would remain up, but no fancy pantsy commands. I’ll notify everyone when that’s about to occur.

No news that’s really bad or anything. LOL. The only thing worth mentioning is the fact that occasionally the server has lost its connectivity to the Internet. Not that it crashed, but rather just got lost for a bit, but then found itself again. Nothing major. I’m very pleased with the new provider we have.

We’ve had to make a few minor administrative changes. For one, ty has made some life changes and has decided to leave the server. We’ll miss you little t. Since ty held a position that was basically 4th in charge, Dilligaf has been promoted to take his place. We know she will do an outstanding job. Congrats, Dilli!

Everything has been successfully moved. The message board and the server are back up, and I am very pleased to say that there was no data loss, and everything transferred quite well. Enjoy!

During the course of the next week or so I will be moving the entire site to a new provider, one that is in Canada and a bit cheaper. So I would like everyone to be aware that the site, the board and the server MAY be down for a short period of time, but rest assured that I will be doing everything I can to bring it back as quickly as possible.
